He has appeared onstage recently as The Director in Mark Jackson's adaptation of Don Juan at S.F.S.U. and as The Headliner in The Companion Piece at Z Space.
When not working in theatre-sound, Jake composes and performs strange and noisy music around the Bay Area and beyond under the pseudonym bran(…)pos, with the grind-jazz-noise band Compomicro-Dexall, torn throat with the black metal band Orhima, and with various other confusing and hilarious ensembles.
Additionally, Jake programs and sells Cricket, a sound design software for the Mac platform that is currently being used by theater companies and sound designers around the globe.
Jake has worked with Art Street Theatre since its inception as both actor and sound designer and is excited to continue his relationship with the company as we all continue to blossom and falter with age.
